Join our dynamic team as a Sustainability Consultant specializing in ESG Data and Evidence Architecture. You will be instrumental in shaping enterprise-wide ESG data solutions, focusing on carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, engineering optimization, and regulatory compliance.

This role involves establishing robust ESG data models, seamlessly integrating sustainability data across diverse enterprise systems, and embedding crucial sustainability insights into engineering, cloud, and operational decision-making processes. Your expertise will drive the creation of a definitive source of truth for sustainability KPIs and client reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, data architecture, solution architecture, enterprise integration, or analytics, with a preference for ESG data exposure. While experience in carbon data or ESG analytics is a plus, a strong data architecture foundation combined with the ability to apply defined carbon/KPI methods is highly valued.

Design and implement enterprise-wide ESG data solutions to support carbon accounting and sustainability reporting. Establish comprehensive ESG data models and integrate sustainability data across enterprise systems. Enable accurate carbon measurement and embed sustainability insights into operational and cloud decision-making. Define end-to-end ESG data lineage from source systems to final KPI reporting and assurance evidence. Develop KPI data models covering environmental, governance, and social measures, including calculation logic and evidence requirements. Map diverse data sources, such as CMDB, ERP, cloud, procurement, and logistics data, to sustainability KPIs. Create telemetry-to-carbon mapping logic using agreed factors and data quality controls. Define master data, metadata, and data dictionary rules for ESG reporting. Design dashboard schemas and reporting views for client governance and internal pursuit reporting. Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure ESG evidence is captured during normal workflows. Support RFP processes by confirming measurement capabilities and reporting boundaries.

A solid foundation in enterprise data architecture, solution architecture, or data integration within complex environments is essential. Demonstrated expertise in data modelling, APIs, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, data lakes, metadata, master data, lineage, and data quality management. Proven experience integrating data from a variety of sources including CMDB, ITSM, ERP, cloud platforms, procurement, supplier systems, asset registers, logistics, and network systems. Ability to translate intricate ESG and sustainability requirements into actionable source data requirements, calculation logic, reporting views, and evidence controls. A working knowledge of carbon accounting principles, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, the GHG Protocol, and sustainability KPI concepts is highly preferred. Excellent documentation skills are required, including the creation of architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, evidence maps, calculation playbooks, and dashboard specifications.
