Join our team as a Support Engineer 1, focused on enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Cerner’s enterprise-wide Revenue Management information system. This critical application, Oracle Health Patient Accounting, underpins healthcare provider revenue cycle management in acute and ambulatory settings. It encompasses key modules like Revenue Management, Patient Access, and Scheduling.
This role offers a dynamic environment where you'll contribute to innovative healthcare IT solutions that impact patient care and financial operations.
In this role, you will be instrumental in monitoring and supporting the Oracle Health Patient Accounting application. You'll conduct ongoing troubleshooting, implement enhancements, and ensure the solution remains optimized and fully operational. Respond to user requests for enhancements, manage, build, and implement changes following industry change control processes to improve client financial solutions. Your primary objective is to consistently meet and surpass client contractual obligations for incidents and enhancements.
We are seeking versatile individuals with a passion for learning and a solid technical foundation, supported by experience or education in information technologies and/or Health Care Administration. You'll serve as a key resource for the team, representing us in important internal and client meetings as needed. An on-call rotation for critical client issues will be required, with specific scheduled times throughout the year. Prospective employees must be available and willing to work from 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. IST.
Your responsibilities will include in-depth troubleshooting investigations by gathering information, utilizing diagnostic tools, observing end-user workflows, and conducting internal/external testing. Prioritize tasks based on severity and urgency, balancing client needs with business objectives. Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure timely issue resolution, meticulously documenting activities, resolutions, and knowledge articles throughout the investigation lifecycle.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant work experience is also valued, alongside a background in Health Care Administration. This position is open to candidates with 0-2 years of experience, making it an excellent opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals.
