NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planning / MRP Functional Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Planning, Forecasting, and Supply Planning. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the ability to translate business needs into actionable material and production requirements using ERP/planning systems. This is a critical functional role focused on core planning activities rather than transactional supply chain or order management.

Key responsibilities include leading MRP processes, collaborating with stakeholders to translate demand into plans, supporting demand forecasting and analysis, executing and analyzing MRP runs, and managing critical planning parameters like lead times, safety stock, and reorder points. You will also analyze and resolve MRP exceptions, support supply and production planning, and collaborate with various teams to ensure demand-supply alignment. Additional duties involve supporting S&OP processes, performing root-cause analysis, configuring planning systems, and developing functional specifications for enhancements.

Essential skills include strong hands-on experience with MRP, Demand Planning, and Forecasting, along with a solid understanding of Supply Planning and Production Planning concepts. A good grasp of planning principles such as BOM, inventory planning, safety stock, lead times, and lot sizing is crucial. Candidates must be adept at analyzing MRP exceptions and resolving shortages or imbalances. Proven experience with an enterprise ERP or Supply Chain Planning platform is mandatory, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities to effectively work with business, manufacturing, procurement, and IT teams. Experience with S&OP, IBP, capacity planning, or advanced planning systems is highly advantageous.
