Join EY's GDS India Finance Team as a Supervising Associate and play a crucial role in accounting and controlling activities for select entities. This role reports to the Manager - Finance and is integral to maintaining accurate financial records.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to month-end close processes, accruals, audits, and intercompany reconciliations for India entities. You will collaborate with finance and accounting teams both domestically and internationally, ensuring timely and precise financial information for reporting. Your responsibilities will include liaising with various stakeholders to drive the month-end closure efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities include planning and driving the month-end and year-end close processes within agreed timelines. You will be responsible for reviewing trial balances, schedules, and financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet), providing essential inputs for accounting entries. The role also involves monitoring the fixed assets register, ensuring all critical fields are accurate, and interacting with other finance stakeholders to meet month-end schedule adherence. You will prepare financial statements, audit schedules, GL reconciliations, and intercompany/inter-unit reconciliations, while also handling statutory, IFRS, and tax audits.

To excel in this role, a Chartered Accountant qualification with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience is required. You should possess strong experience in preparing financial statements and notes to accounts, with expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and handling large datasets. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a dependable team-player mindset are essential. Ideally, you'll have exposure to SAP ERP, an eye for efficiency and process improvements, strong planning and prioritization abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
