Birlasoft seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to join the Conduent HSP Modernization program. This role is crucial for understanding complex healthcare business processes, meticulously analyzing and documenting requirements, and ensuring solution designs align with business needs. You will be a key liaison, supporting both delivery and testing teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring successful program outcomes.

Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of health-plan administration systems, requiring a deep dive into operational intricacies and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities include gaining a comprehensive understanding of HSP business processes, user workflows, existing application behaviors, and business rules. You will lead requirement workshops, engage with stakeholders and SMEs to clarify needs, and meticulously document both functional and non-functional requirements. Preparing detailed documentation such as BRDs, process flows, use cases, and interface specifications is essential. Maintaining requirement traceability and collaborating with architects to validate solution designs are also core duties. You will define and validate NFRs, review test scenarios for adequate coverage, and actively support various testing phases including functional, integration, and UAT. Participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and defect triage sessions will be regular aspects of the role.

A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within application development, modernization, or transformation programs is required. Strong domain knowledge in healthcare or health-plan administration, covering areas like claims, member management, provider relations, enrollment, or billing, is essential. Proven experience in business requirement analysis, process analysis, documentation, and conducting stakeholder workshops is critical. A solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing processes is necessary. Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected. Familiarity with .NET, React, REST APIs, SQL Server, and basic SQL for data analysis is advantageous.
