Seeking an experienced Windchill Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging PTC Windchill expertise to drive product development and implementation.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in product development methodologies and agile practices, coupled with practical experience in areas like source management, problem resolution, automated testing, and DevOps.

Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically AWS, is also a key aspect of this position.

The core responsibilities involve deep engagement with PTC Windchill, including customization, debugging, and development fundamentals. You will be instrumental in creating and maintaining crucial documentation, conducting software testing, and ensuring optimal software performance through tuning and maintenance.

Responsibilities also extend to understanding and applying strong product development methodologies and tools, such as agile methods, source management, problem resolution, automated testing, and DevOps practices using tools like GITHUB and SVN.

An essential part of the role is working within AWS environments, contributing to projects that leverage this cloud platform.

A minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill is required, encompassing customization, debugging, and fundamental development. Technical proficiencies must include Java, REST API, Webservices, JavaScript, Shell scripting, SQL, HTML, and CSS.

Essential knowledge of basic Windchill modules is a must, along with advanced skills in PDM Link customization, XML, and SQL database programming. Deep expertise in JAVA, J2EE, JSP, and JavaScript is expected, alongside a solid understanding of PLM processes such as BOM Management, Part Management, Document Management, EBOM, MBOM, CAD Integration, Configuration Management, and Requirements Management.

Additional advantages include knowledge of PDM Link – CREO Integration, various integrations like ERP and CAD, experience with lightweight generation, publication processes, and BOM handling within context management. Familiarity with UML, Unix administration, Oracle, GIT, and Jira, particularly within an Agile framework, is highly beneficial. A strong business acumen and commitment to meeting business expectations are also critical.
