Seeking a Senior Network Consultant to enhance and maintain enterprise network environments, ensuring top-tier availability, security, and performance. This role involves strategic optimization and modernization of network infrastructure.

Engage in daily activities including troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating with vendors, and serving as a subject matter expert for network-related projects. The position requires a proactive approach to system optimization and development of standard operating procedures.

Support and optimize enterprise network environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Provide incident support, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network issues.

Develop network recommendations based on best practices and implement improvements aligned with customer security standards and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and optimize current network architecture. Investigate and resolve complex networking issues within the J.D. Irving Limited infrastructure. Optimize existing systems for performance and capacity while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

A minimum of 10 years of direct experience as a Network Engineer in large-scale enterprise networks.

Demonstrated expertise in routing, switching, wireless controllers, firewalls, and load balancers.

Proficiency in developing and implementing network recommendations and improvements to meet security and compliance standards.

Experience working with tools such as Cisco Prime, Cisco Identity Services Engine, Cisco Catalyst, Junos Space, OpManager, CheckPoint, and A10/Netscaler platforms.

Ability to act as a networking subject matter expert on technology projects and lead day-to-day networking activities.
