Join Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, where we empower innovative companies. Our team of engineers, scientists, and architects drive progress in fields like autonomous vehicles and life-saving robotics. We offer a dynamic career path with opportunities for growth and impact, where each day presents new challenges and possibilities.
As an Aero Structural Engineer, you will develop detailed 3D and 2D designs for aircraft structural components using CATIA V5 within the Airbus framework. This involves creating single parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, along with comprehensive drawing sets. You will collaborate closely with onshore teams and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables, meeting all specified requirements and deadlines.
Your role will include performing detailing, assembly, and Bill of Materials (BOM) creation for primary and secondary aircraft structures, both metallic and composite. You will also mentor junior engineers and ensure consistent customer satisfaction through reliable and accurate output, actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
We are seeking candidates with substantial experience in Airbus methodologies across SA, LR, and A350 programs. A strong understanding of metallic and composite aircraft structures is essential. You should possess hands-on expertise in designing and 3D modeling of primary structural elements such as skins, frames, and stringers, with excellent drawing interpretation skills and a grasp of GD&T principles.
Proficiency in CATIA V5, including modules like Part Design, Aerospace Sheet Metal, Drafting, Assembly, FTA, and Surface Design, is required. Practical experience with the Airbus toolchain (VPM, PASS, TAKSY, CCD, TREND, AIRINA, 3DJuump) is expected. A minimum of 2 years of experience with primary and secondary aircraft structures, coupled with strong detailing, assembly, and BOM creation skills, is necessary. We value self-driven individuals with excellent engineering acumen, thinking abilities, and communication skills. An Airbus certification is considered an advantage.
