Drive the acquisition of critical third-party data for DeepMind's foundational AI models as a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager. This role involves translating complex research needs into actionable data strategies, ensuring a robust pipeline that aligns with Gemini's core capabilities. You will be part of the Global Partnerships organization, fostering new opportunities with Google's extensive partner network to enhance user experiences across various Google products like advertising, Search, Assistant, and Maps.
Focus on identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential partners within APAC, with a special emphasis on coding and agentic domains. You will build and manage a strong APAC pipeline aligned with DeepMind's strategic objectives. Leading end-to-end negotiations for multiple partnership agreements, you'll navigate intricate commercial terms, usage rights, and legal/ethical considerations, ensuring swift internal review processes. Cultivating strong internal stakeholder relationships and refining operational processes, including accurate pipeline management via Salesforce, are also key aspects of this position.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside a minimum of 7 years in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or operations strategy within the technology sector. Proven experience in executing and managing partnerships, negotiating agreements with APAC-based partners, and engaging with C-level executives and cross-functional teams is essential. A Master's degree or advanced degree is preferred, as is experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships in dynamic, collaborative environments. The ability to identify business opportunities, assess financial benefits, structure agreements, and excellent communication and influencing skills are highly valued.
