A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend development and distributed systems. Demonstrated ability to architect large-scale, fault-tolerant systems from inception, understanding the nuances of consistency versus availability. A proactive and self-driven mindset, capable of identifying business problems, scoping technical solutions, and driving execution without explicit task assignment. Intellectual curiosity to rapidly acquire expertise in complex domains like treasury and money movement. Proficiency in a modern backend language such as Python, Go, or Java, alongside experience with sophisticated data modeling using SQL and NoSQL databases. Excellent communication skills, enabling clear articulation of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
