Take ownership of technical design and implementation for key Search Intelligence features. Drive technical decisions and contribute to best practices within your area of expertise.

Collaborate closely with executive engineers, AI/ML researchers, and Product Managers to translate innovative ideas into robust technical solutions. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of search features, operating at Google's scale and tailored for the Indian market.

Provide strong technical leadership on high-impact projects, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. Facilitate clear communication and alignment across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside 8 years of software development expertise.

Candidates should possess 5 years of experience in ML design and infrastructure, encompassing model deployment, evaluation, data processing, and fine-tuning. Additional experience in areas such as speech/audio technology, reinforcement learning, or other ML specializations is valuable.

Proven experience in testing and launching software products (5 years) and expertise in software design and architecture (3 years) are essential. Familiarity with integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD, technical leadership experience, and familiarity with agentic frameworks and LLM-powered automation.
