Lead the Knowledge Catalog's search pillar, focusing on core search and discovery infrastructure, along with search quality and evaluation frameworks. You will architect scalable, low-latency distributed systems designed to meet demanding service level agreements for various search use cases.

Further responsibilities include building robust search infrastructure for both human users and agentic workflows. Fostering engineering excellence and ensuring production reliability across all search serving and indexing pipelines are critical. You will also mentor and develop fellow Individual Contributors, establishing the Bengaluru site as a center of excellence for search infrastructure and quality.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside a minimum of 8 years in software development and 5 years focused on testing and launching software products.

Essential experience includes working with distributed databases and large-scale distributed systems. Candidates with a Master’s degree or PhD in a related technical field, coupled with 3 years of technical leadership experience driving architectural roadmaps and system design, are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience architecting high-throughput, low-latency search back-ends or information retrieval platforms is highly desirable.
