Lead and implement critical infrastructure enhancements for Google One (G1) security, including API development, business logic implementation, and database modifications. Provide strong technical leadership on high-priority projects, guiding and mentoring a globally distributed engineering team. Foster clear communication and alignment across multiple teams regarding project goals, expected outcomes, and timelines. Effectively manage project priorities, deadlines, and key deliverables. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve large-scale software solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of 8 years of professional programming experience in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go. Must possess 5 years of experience in successfully testing and launching software products, along with 3 years of experience in software design and architecture. A Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred. Further preferred qualifications include 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and 3 years in a technical leadership role, including project team management and setting technical direction. Experience within complex, matrixed organizations managing cross-functional projects is also highly desirable.
