Lead infrastructure initiatives to bolster Google One's security posture, including developing new APIs, implementing business logic, and modifying database systems.

Provide strong technical guidance on significant projects, mentoring and influencing a diverse engineering team.

Ensure clear communication and alignment among teams regarding project objectives, outcomes, and schedules.

Effectively manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve robust, large-scale software solutions.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

We seek candidates with 8 years of programming experience in languages such as C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.

Demonstrated experience of 5 years in testing and launching software products is essential.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in software design and architecture is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, along with 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Additionally, 3 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity, guiding project teams and setting technical direction, as well as 3 years of experience in complex, matrixed organizational settings, are highly valued.
