You'll contribute to systems that handle complex payroll scenarios across diverse countries, currencies, and compliance landscapes. Lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-performance systems for processing vast amounts of compensation data and performance metrics. Architect and build efficient, real-time data pipelines to guarantee accurate, timely, and secure compensation calculations. Develop and optimize distributed systems capable of handling high-throughput data processing and analytics. Champion best practices in code quality, security, and system reliability.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to shape and execute the product roadmap. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers, cultivating a high-performance team culture.

A seasoned software engineer with 9+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity focusing on architecture and system design. You should possess strong proficiency in backend development, distributed systems, and large-scale data pipelines, with hands-on experience using data processing frameworks. A deep understanding of building and scaling real-time, high-throughput systems is essential.

We're looking for individuals with robust analytical and debugging skills, a genuine passion for tackling complex technical challenges, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working on consumer-grade applications with a focus on intuitive user experiences is a plus.
