Drive the technical vision for Google Cloud Storage (GCS) manageability, identifying and addressing technical debt, architectural bottlenecks, and scaling needs. Architect and integrate conversational AI into core dashboards, leading simplification efforts to align system capabilities with user needs. Design and implement highly scalable middleware (Coliseum/Java) and front-end (Angular) architectures, acting as the final authority on code reviews and design approvals. Collaborate closely with GCS backend Tech Leads, UX Directors, and product executives to define feature scopes, performance goals, and release timelines. Proactively identify and resolve systemic issues, optimizing large-scale infrastructure and taking ownership of critical business initiative outcomes.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python. Demonstrated experience architecting middleware solutions or backend pipelines using Java or GraphQL is preferred. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular is essential for this role.
