Set the technical direction for Google Cloud Storage (GCS) console manageability, identifying and addressing technical debt, architectural bottlenecks, and scaling needs.

Architect integrations for conversational AI into core dashboards and lead efforts to simplify systems by aligning Pantheon constraints with backend capabilities.

Design and implement highly scalable, testable middleware (using Java) and frontend (using Angular) structures. Serve as the final authority on critical code reviews and design approvals.

Collaborate with GCS backend Tech Leads, UX Directors, and product executives to define feature scopes, latency targets, and release schedules.

Proactively identify and resolve broad, foundational issues beyond single-system bugs. Analyze complex architectural bottlenecks, optimize large-scale infrastructure, and take ownership of technical outcomes for key business initiatives.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Candidates must possess at least 8 years of experience in general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C++, or Python.

Demonstrated experience in architecting middleware solutions or backend pipelines using Java or GraphQL is preferred. This role may require in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
