As part of the Enterprise Product Strategy and Architecture (EPA) team, you'll define and guide modern architectural standards, ensuring our global corporate systems are innovative and resilient. You will partner with domain engineering teams to build reusable design patterns and clear architectural baselines, empowering teams to deliver faster and unlock operational efficiencies.

Drive in-depth technical evaluations of complex project designs, system architectures, and integrations, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and strategic blueprints.

Contribute significantly to Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) decision-making, supporting the review process for annual planning initiatives and off-cycle requests.

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams and domain leads, translating architectural blueprints into practical system designs and proactively identifying risks.

Advocate for the EA Toolkit, approved APIs, and standard technologies to enhance developer velocity, making architecture a facilitator rather than a hindrance.

Evaluate proposals for scalability, performance, security, high availability, and SRE best practices to ensure robust solutions.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with a minimum of 8 years in software development and 5 years in testing and launching software products.

Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, C#, Objective-C, or Swift is essential. Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and APIs is also a must.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in a related technical field, 4 years of technical management or leadership experience, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. Expertise in SRE, designing for high performance/availability, and developing full-stack applications for planet-scale data are highly valued.
