Join Google's innovative Enterprise Product Strategy and Architecture (EPA) team as a Staff Software Engineer. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of Corporate Engineering by defining and implementing modern architectural standards, driving innovation, and ensuring enterprise-wide efficiencies. You will contribute to building scalable, resilient, and strategically aligned corporate systems that power a more helpful Google for everyone.

Drive in-depth technical evaluations of complex project designs, system architectures, and integrations. Act as a key contributor to architectural decision-making and support the Enterprise Architecture Board review process. Serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating architectural blueprints into practical system designs and identifying potential risks. Advocate for the EA Toolkit, approved APIs, and reusable design patterns to accelerate developer velocity.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, coupled with 8 years of software development experience, is required. You should also have 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products. Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, C#, Objective-C, or Swift) is essential. Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and APIs is also a must.
