Drive comprehensive technical reviews of intricate project designs, system architectures, and cross-Corporate Engineering integrations. Ensure strict adherence to established architectural standards, design patterns, and strategic blueprints.

Contribute significantly to Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) decisions. Support the EAB review process by evaluating key annual planning initiatives and ad-hoc requests.

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams and domain leads. Translate architectural blueprints into practical system designs, proactively identifying potential gaps and integration risks.

Enhance developer productivity by promoting the EA Toolkit, approved APIs, reusable design patterns, and standard technologies. Position architecture as a catalyst for progress, not a bottleneck.

Assess proposals for scalability, performance, security, high availability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required for this role.

Possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in software development.

Demonstrate 5 years of experience in testing and successfully launching software products.

Proficiency in software development using at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, C#, Objective-C, or Swift.

Experience in designing and implementing distributed systems and APIs is essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A minimum of 4 years of technical management or leadership experience guiding software developers, systems administrators, or systems architects is highly valued.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial, with a proven ability to align distributed engineering leads towards common architectural standards. Expertise in SRE, designing for high performance and availability, and building solutions within modern cloud environments is a strong asset. A solid background in developing, deploying, and troubleshooting full-stack applications handling vast amounts of data is also preferred.
