We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing the future of Google Cloud's API management and AI Agent infrastructure. You will be instrumental in building, securing, and enhancing global gateway services that transform standard APIs into valuable digital assets.

Lead the design and implementation of critical features for API and AI Agent repository development.

Construct highly scalable, distributed systems to automate asset discovery and integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Agent Cloud and API Gateways.

Develop robust interfaces and schemas that enable AI Agents to effectively consume organizational assets.

Champion high engineering standards through rigorous design and code reviews, promoting best practices in cloud-native development.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, assisting in resolving complex technical challenges and enhancing system reliability.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

We are looking for a minimum of 8 years of experience in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.

Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and RAG systems is essential.

Demonstrated experience in software development, with expertise in designing and implementing distributed systems or cloud-native infrastructure, is necessary.
