Lead the resolution of install base issues by identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and updating code or procedures. Provide technical guidance and serve as the primary technical anchor for the development team. Act as a subject matter expert for product technical implementation and use cases, coordinating between L4 Engineering, customers, regional teams, field service, and product management.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and workflows for installed base support. Manage daily L4 operations, including prioritizing tasks, distributing tickets, tracking dependencies, and resolving blockers. Oversee system migrations, product upgrades, and cloud rollouts, ensuring readiness and managing dependencies.
Establish and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through regular dashboards, covering metrics like response time, resolution time, SLA adherence, and backlog aging. Analyze recurring issues to drive corrective actions through defect and trend reviews, collaborating cross-functionally. Create and update troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and knowledge base content. Promote standardization, automation, training, and self-service capabilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field is required, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. Proficiency is needed in at least one programming language such as Java, C, C++, or C# for a minimum of 5 years, alongside experience with scripting languages (Python, SQL, Bash) and automation tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is essential. A strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and workflows, including DICOM, PACS, IHE, and HL7, is crucial. Experience leading install base products and teams is highly preferred, as is exposure to Agile methodologies.
Exceptional debugging, problem-solving, and analytical abilities are necessary. The capacity to prioritize multiple tasks while delivering high-quality service is paramount. Candidates should demonstrate clarity of thought, the ability to influence others, and proactively remove project obstacles. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are key, along with a proven ability to drive code quality and process rigor.
