This role is integral to our Finance Operations, specifically supporting the Order-to-Cash cycle. You'll be responsible for accurate and timely billing, cash application, and collections, ensuring healthy cash flow. This involves close collaboration with internal teams and clients to resolve payment and billing queries, alongside supporting month-end closing procedures. By adhering to defined processes and maintaining meticulous records, you will help minimize errors, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless daily O2C operations.

As part of the RTR value stream, you will:

- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. - Prepare and post journal entries accurately. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. - Perform and reconcile balance sheet accounts. - Investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies. - Conduct variance analysis, comparing actuals against budget or forecast. - Maintain comprehensive reconciliation documentation and audit trails. - Manage fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and asset tracking. - Oversee accruals, provisions, and prepayments. - Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations. - Ensure strict adherence to company policies and accounting standards. - Provide support during internal and external audits. - Maintain documentation for audit readiness. - Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. - Assist in implementing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- A strong grasp of core Record to Report (RTR) processes, with a focus on billing, sales order creation, and AR coordination. - Practical experience with SAP, including navigating service codes, quantities, rate structures, and sales order modules. - A solid understanding of finance processes like billing validation, invoice submission, and dispute resolution. - Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions like lookups and pivots, and the ability to generate basic reports. - The capability to analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and effectively resolve billing-related issues. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for seamless cross-functional collaboration. - An organized and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Educational Background: - A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance are preferred).

Experience: - A minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience in billing, sales order processing, or Order to Cash operations is necessary, preferably within a service-based, aviation, or logistics industry. - Proven experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is mandatory. - The ability to manage month-end deadlines and handle increased workloads during peak periods is essential. - Comfort and experience working with global or cross-functional stakeholders.
