EY is seeking a skilled Pharma Forecasting Specialist to be a key contributor within a cross-functional team. This role is central to developing global, country, and regional forecasts based on identified needs. The ideal candidate possesses robust forecasting abilities (6-8 years of experience), deep knowledge of therapeutic areas and the pharmaceutical sector, and the capacity to propose assumptions, draft concept notes, and prepare compelling presentations. Basic Python proficiency is also a requirement for this position.

Develop short-term and long-term brand volume forecasts to support strategic and operational planning. Conduct in-depth strategic forecasting for brands and franchises, offering guidance informed by franchise insights. Address analytical challenges at regional and brand levels using quantitative methods. Perform sensitivity analyses to identify opportunities and mitigate risks, thereby improving forecast accuracy.

Act as a key stakeholder in cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, MMD, HHI, RCL) for global, country, and regional forecasting needs. Utilize advanced analytical and forecasting techniques to create and maintain precise forecasts. Recommend appropriate assumptions and methodologies for forecasting models. Prepare concept notes and presentations to effectively communicate findings and strategic recommendations.

Possess strong business analysis skills, including experience in requirement elicitation, data management, change management, and presentation development. Demonstrate knowledge of the Long Range Forecasting process. Exhibit excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Bring therapeutic area-specific knowledge and pharmaceutical industry experience. Must have basic Python coding skills.

Further desired qualifications include extensive experience in business analysis and forecasting within the pharmaceutical industry, strong knowledge of one or more pharma therapeutic areas (e.g., Oncology, Vaccines), and a proven history of developing and maintaining accurate forecasts. Advanced proficiency in relevant business analysis and forecasting tools is beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage tasks independently and proactively, and robust analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is key. A personal drive and positive work ethic are vital for delivering results under tight deadlines and in demanding situations.
