Join our Product and Platform Engineering team as a Staff Engineer, focusing on JPMC's Java Developer initiatives. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing high-volume applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring exceptional availability and performance.

Contribute across the entire development lifecycle, from conception to deployment. You'll leverage your expertise in Java (preferably Java 17), Spring, and Spring Boot to build robust and scalable solutions.

This is an onsite position in Bengaluru, offering a dynamic environment for growth and innovation in a regular full-time capacity.

Design and develop high-volume, high-availability applications for mission-critical systems.

Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of robust and performant solutions.

Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework to produce high-quality software consistently.

Utilize expertise in various databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL, to support application needs.

Implement messaging services like JMS, MQ, and Kafka for effective data flow and communication.

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Java and its associated frameworks.

Proficiency in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Data Structures, Algorithms, and REST API design.

Solid understanding of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL technologies.

Demonstrated skills in Collections, Threading, and complex problem-solving.

Experience with Design Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture principles, and distributed systems.

Familiarity with messaging queues (JMS, MQ, Kafka) and version control systems (GIT/SVN).

Experience with build tools (Ant/Maven/Gradle) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and code quality tools (Sonarqube).

Experience building and deploying applications on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, and SNS.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is advantageous, as is experience in DevOps practices.
