Seeking a seasoned Pega professional to join our Product and Platform Engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of Pega application development, with 6 to 9 years of IT experience.

You will be instrumental in architecting and implementing robust Pega solutions that align seamlessly with business objectives and established enterprise standards. Your expertise will drive innovation and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing end-to-end Pega solutions using Pega 7.x/8.x platforms. You'll implement core functionalities like case management, business rules, decisioning, and integrations.

This role also involves performing critical tasks such as performance tuning, code reviews, and optimization. A significant aspect of the position is driving best practices in Pega design, ensuring guardrail compliance, and promoting reuse strategies. Furthermore, you will integrate Pega with external systems via REST, SOAP, Kafka, and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams. Mentoring junior developers and supporting production deployments are also key duties.

This position requires a minimum of 6 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Pega development using the Pega 7.x/8.x (Pega Infinity) platform.

Candidates must possess a profound understanding of Case Management, Data Modeling, Decision Tables/Trees, Flows, Activities, Data Pages, and various integration methods (REST, SOAP, APIs). Experience in performance tuning, application debugging, and familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines are essential. Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with application development lifecycles, including release management and branching, are expected.

Possession of a Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Pega guardrails and best practices is also a requirement. Additional competencies include experience in production support, incident management, strong SQL and web services knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. The capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and a proactive approach to learning are highly valued.
