Key responsibilities include ensuring the stability of our distributed microservices architecture, managing Kubernetes workloads with GitOps practices, and troubleshooting complex cluster issues. You will also manage CDN and edge infrastructure for optimal performance and automate infrastructure lifecycle operations. Additionally, you'll own the observability stack, enhance monitoring and alerting, and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Supporting the AI agent infrastructure involves managing job scheduling, environment provisioning, and cost attribution. You will develop Kubernetes controllers and operators to enhance agent orchestration capabilities. Collaboration with product and backend teams is crucial for platform scalability, alongside building internal tools and automating workflows to boost team productivity. Staying current with cloud-native best practices and Kubernetes updates is essential.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 8 years of experience in software and platform engineering, with a strong track record in production systems. Proficiency in Go or Python for daily production code is required. Significant hands-on experience building and deploying services on Kubernetes, beyond just YAML configuration, is essential. Experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux is also necessary.

Strong fundamentals in networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS) and Linux/OS (process management, systemd, debugging tools) are vital. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for query optimization and replication, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and message queues/streaming platforms (Kafka, SQS) is expected. Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem, observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic), and cloud providers like GCP or AWS is required.

Familiarity with AI/LLM infrastructure, Kubernetes Operators, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi are beneficial.
