This role is a strategic leadership position focused on the Indian developer community. You will be a key technical expert and advocate, shaping our global product and research direction based on local insights. Your mission is to drive adoption of our models and tools by defining and executing a compelling developer relations strategy for India, fostering a thriving AI builders ecosystem.

Define and lead the technical go-to-market strategy for AI models and tools, such as Gemini and Nano Banana, customizing enablement and assets for the Indian ecosystem's startups, developers, and enterprises.

Forge strategic partnerships with regional developer platforms and startups in India to integrate DeepMind technology into the local developer stack.

Spearhead DeepMind's regional technical strategy and advocacy, representing the organization at key developer events and influencing the content and advocacy strategy to inspire the developer community.

Influence global product and model research roadmaps by synthesizing technical findings, local constraints, and Indian developer feedback.

Serve as a strategic "zeroth customer" for DeepMind technology, collaborating with core engineering teams on early-stage API design, usability, and architecture to ensure production-readiness.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

We seek candidates with 7 years of experience in technical roles such as software engineering, AI engineering, or solutions consulting.

A minimum of 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing is essential.

Proficiency in coding with Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript is a prerequisite for this role.
