Driving this expansion requires adept execution of large-scale, intricate programs that span customer experience, sales, technology, pricing, supply chain, and operations, often involving worldwide and partner teams. A key focus is on AI-powered initiatives, including agentic buying assistants and intelligent automation across returns and recovery, making AI fluency essential for this role.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to spearhead the most critical and complex programs across this diverse portfolio. The primary focus will be on Amazon Business (Self-Service Registered and CPS enterprise sales), with dedicated support for high-complexity initiatives within Private Brands and ReCommerce. This senior, cross-functional position demands alignment across engineering, product, and business leadership.
Take ownership of the most significant and complex programs within Amazon Business (SSR and CPS), managing them from conception through launch, coordinating efforts across engineering, product, pricing, sales, and operations. This includes customer-facing AI products, platform development, pricing strategies, expansion efforts, and compliance programs.
Lead the delivery of customer-facing AI experiences, translating rapidly evolving AI capabilities into tangible products with clear customer value. Apply the same rigorous program management approach to other high-stakes, complex initiatives within the organization.
Provide focused program leadership for Private Brands and ReCommerce, concentrating on their largest and most complex projects where cross-organizational complexity and business impact are paramount.
Proactively manage cross-business and cross-organizational dependencies, identifying, sequencing, and resolving blockers related to technology, data, model readiness, tax, accounting, supply chain, and worldwide partner teams to prevent program delays.
Establish and maintain robust program governance structures, including mechanisms for status reporting and leadership reviews, to provide each business with a unified view of program health, risks, and critical paths.
Act as an AI-forward operator, leveraging Generative AI and internal AI tools to streamline planning, synthesize status updates, model dependencies, and significantly reduce task completion times. Contribute to elevating the team's adoption and proficiency in using AI for program management.
A minimum of 7 years of direct experience working with engineering teams is required.
Possess at least 5 years of experience in technical product or program management roles.
Demonstrate 3+ years of experience in software development.
Accumulate over 5 years of experience in technical program management, specifically involving direct collaboration with software engineering teams.
Proven track record of managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing effective processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management. Experience in defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guide multi-million dollar businesses and reporting progress to senior leadership is also highly valued.
