Define the strategic vision and multi-year product roadmap for Generative AI applications aimed at automating compliance workflows and enhancing safety operations globally.

Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists to assess Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities for safety and compliance, focusing on accuracy, cost, and safety guardrails. Design and implement human-in-the-loop systems to integrate AI automation with human oversight for critical compliance decisions.

Establish robust metrics and evaluation frameworks to monitor AI model performance, including precision, recall, false positive rates, and operational impact. Evaluate emerging LLM technologies and propose strategic investments to enhance Amazon's compliance technology stack.

Act as a technical leader, partnering with internal customers to understand their needs and working with engineering teams to drive scalable compliance and safety product roadmaps. Challenge science teams on model architecture and technical trade-offs, ensuring optimal product outcomes and anticipating future innovation needs.

Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives across diverse teams and locations, ensuring timely delivery of AI solutions. Drive the adoption of GenAI solutions through effective change management, training, and stakeholder engagement, creating certainty in ambiguous environments.

Utilize data analysis to inform product strategy and prioritization, defining key success metrics that capture business impact, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements. Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses for GenAI investments, balancing model costs with operational savings.

A Bachelor's degree is required, complemented by a proven track record in owning and driving roadmap strategy, feature delivery, and managing technical products or online services.

Demonstrated experience in contributing to technical discussions, understanding technology decisions, and advocating for diverse customer needs during executive-level planning.

Strong technical depth in Generative AI and AI/ML domains is essential, with expertise in managing LLM-based systems in production. Excellent communication and influencing skills are necessary to drive win-win solutions across organizational levels.

Passion for retail, supply chain, or consumer business, coupled with a desire to build impactful AI-powered products that transform customer safety at scale. Prior experience in product management for AI/ML products and managing GenAI roadmaps is highly preferred.

Familiarity with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight, and experience in building and driving adoption of new tools, would be advantageous.
