Spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts for both UI and API testing. Craft and execute comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and robust test scripts aligned with business requirements. Build, manage, and enhance reusable automation frameworks utilizing industry-leading practices. Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and fellow QA team members to deeply understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. Proactively analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automation, environments, and test execution. Conduct thorough reviews of automation scripts and test execution results to ensure adherence to quality standards. Integrate AI-assisted tools and workflows to optimize requirement analysis, test design, automation development, and overall QA productivity. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Provide clear and concise documentation for defects, test execution outcomes, and project status updates. Champion continuous improvements in automation practices, testing processes, and overall software quality. Foster effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional software.

Demonstrate 3-5 years of comprehensive experience within the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Possess strong, hands-on expertise with Playwright and Cypress for UI automation. Exhibit solid practical experience in API testing and automation using Playwright API, Karate, Rest Assured, Postman, or comparable frameworks. Showcase proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reusable automation frameworks. Be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Java is essential, and Python skills are advantageous. Have a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and coding best practices. Possess expertise in automation frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG. Demonstrate experience working with RESTful APIs and backend service testing. Be experienced in using Git-based version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Maintain a solid understanding of the STLC, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and DevOps practices. Possess a good understanding of AI-assisted Software Testing and the effective utilization of AI tools for various QA phases. Highlight hands-on experience with AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Windsurf.
