We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Technical Program Manager to lead significant projects from conception through completion. This role involves gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing detailed specifications, and meticulously managing project timelines from design to release, including production launches. You will orchestrate design and implementation efforts across diverse teams contributing to tablet releases.

This position demands clear communication of goals, roles, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. The ideal candidate will excel at navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and making strategic tradeoffs to optimize delivery timelines. You will be instrumental in breaking down complex projects into manageable phases and ensuring timely delivery.

Scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end. Collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers. Writing detailed specifications for projects. Driving project schedules from design to release. Managing the production launch of software products. Leading and coordinating design and implementation efforts across numerous teams. Making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market. Clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes. Anticipating bottlenecks and providing escalation management. Balancing business needs versus technical constraints. Breaking down large, complex projects into manageable pieces. Developing functional specifications. Delivering projects in a timely manner.

A strong program management background is essential, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale projects. A well-rounded technical foundation in current Mobile (Android) technologies is required. You must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities.

Possess at least 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams. Have 5+ years of technical product or program management experience. Include 3+ years of software development experience. Possess 5+ years of technical program management experience directly with software engineering teams. Have experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules. Demonstrate experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition. Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of project management discipline experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management. Experience defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership is also a plus.
