The Featured Merchant Algorithm (FMA) team is pivotal in determining which offer is presented to customers on the product detail page, often referred to as the ‘Buy Box’.

Our FMA team employs artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data to rank and select the optimal customer offer. Our sophisticated systems manage millions of requests per second, processing hundreds of millions of products and billions of offers, directly influencing over 99% of product sales on Amazon.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join this high-impact team. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineers, product managers, and scientists to introduce new features and lead business launches that elevate the customer shopping experience. You will provide crucial technical direction and business insight to define our strategy.

As a Senior TPM, you will be instrumental in managing multiple complex programs. Your responsibilities include ensuring seamless alignment across both technical and non-technical teams, and delivering clear, concise updates on program progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

To excel in this role, a minimum of 5 years in technical product or program management is essential. You should also possess at least 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams and a minimum of 3 years of software development experience.

Proven experience managing programs that span cross-functional teams, coupled with a track record of building effective processes and coordinating release schedules, is critical for success in this position.
