Amazon Leo is pioneering a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites to deliver high-speed, low-latency broadband to global communities. The Commerce team is central to developing the operational systems that will drive customer acquisition, billing, and the overall business success of this groundbreaking service.

This role seeks a forward-thinking Technical Program Manager to spearhead significant cross-functional initiatives within the Amazon Leo Commerce team in India. You will be pivotal in shaping and executing country expansion strategies for Leo Commerce and the broader Leo Excellence program.

Own the end-to-end program for Leo operational health readiness and international launches, ensuring seamless execution across multiple regions.

Proactively manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and drive readiness for launches and operations across diverse geographical areas. This includes tracking inter-team dependencies, coordinating regional rollouts across 6 AWS regions, conducting go/no-go and readiness reviews, and ensuring the closure of Gameday and production-readiness items. Crucially, you will also ensure all security and compliance requirements are met before launch.

Develop and implement robust mechanisms and reporting systems to provide leadership with a unified, accurate source of truth for program status.

Define, champion, and shepherd the internationalization roadmap, incorporating market-specific requirements to ensure global success.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product or program management is required.

Additionally, 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams is essential.

Demonstrated experience in software development for at least 3 years.

More than 5 years of dedicated technical program management experience, specifically collaborating with software engineering teams.

Proven ability to manage complex programs involving cross-functional teams, establish efficient processes, and effectively coordinate release schedules.
