Seeking a seasoned Sr. Technical Lead with expertise in Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering, specifically focusing on Network Consulting. This role involves a strong emphasis on supporting and optimizing enterprise-level network environments to ensure peak performance, robust security, and unwavering availability.

As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our network infrastructure, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.

Take ownership of complex network issues within the J.D. Irving Limited infrastructure, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution.

Serve as the primary network subject matter expert for various internal and external technology projects, ensuring all initiatives adhere to established organizational standards.

Optimize current systems to enhance performance and capacity, actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and modernization.

Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures for all deployed networking solutions.

Lead daily networking operations while actively contributing to long-term strategic planning for infrastructure.

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer is essential, with a proven track record of supporting large-scale enterprise networks.

Demonstrate deep expertise in routing, switching, wireless controllers, firewalls, and load balancers. Strong incident support capabilities, including swift and effective troubleshooting of critical network issues, are required.

Experience in developing network recommendations aligned with best practices and implementing improvements to meet customer security standards and compliance requirements is crucial.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to assess current network architecture and drive optimization initiatives. Familiarity with tools such as Cisco Prime, Cisco Identity Services Engine, Cisco Catalyst, Junos Space, OpManager, CheckPoint, and A10/Netscaler load-balancing platforms is beneficial.
