We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead specializing in Application Development with a strong focus on API integration. This role requires extensive hands-on expertise in JBoss Fuse, Kafka, and Azure API Management (APIM).

The ideal candidate will drive the development and implementation of robust integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and secure API exposure. This position offers an opportunity to architect and lead critical integration projects within our organization.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing JBoss Fuse/Apache Camel routes for various integration patterns (file-based, batch, API-based). You will manage SFTP integrations, ensuring secure file handling and processing. Integrating with Kafka for asynchronous and event-driven communication is crucial, alongside developing robust Kafka producers and consumers.

You will implement end-to-end orchestration, handle data transformations, and manage complex exception handling, retry mechanisms, and logging. Expertise in integrating Fuse with REST/SOAP APIs and databases, along with ensuring secure connectivity, is essential. Troubleshooting production integration issues across the entire ecosystem will also be a key part of this role.

Mandatory skills include deep hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) for API onboarding, policy development, and lifecycle management. Proficiency in securing APIs using OAuth 2.0, certificates, SSL/TLS, and mTLS is required. A strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, API versioning, and monitoring is also necessary.

Candidates must possess hands-on experience in Kafka development, including topics, producers, consumers, and message processing. Familiarity with integrating APIs with backend applications and microservices, along with a grasp of API-led and cloud-native integration architectures, is expected. Experience with Azure DevOps/Git and CI/CD for API deployment is preferred.
