AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the global AWS data center infrastructure, ensuring continuous availability of cloud services. This role offers a chance to work on complex, high-growth challenges within Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) in Hyderabad.

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver usable data center capacity in Hyderabad. Partner with senior stakeholders to develop, document, manage, and deliver infrastructure designs, schedules, and budgets. Build trust by solving complex issues and steering teams toward on-time, cost-effective results. Oversee the delivery of new data centers across multiple availability zones. Manage approximately five projects concurrently, bridging internal customers, business functions, and delivery teams. Engage in early expansion planning, including feasibility analysis and approval of expansion plans. Evaluate factors such as supply, utility delivery, and long-lead equipment availability before approving plans. Monitor in-flight projects, identify major risks, and implement remediation efforts to ensure delivery meets supply commitments and evolving customer demand. Utilize metrics, tools, and mechanisms to manage risks, make decisions, and identify alternative solutions.

A minimum of 5 years in program management or technical project management is required. Additionally, 4 years of experience specifically in project management is essential. Experience with project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management is preferred. Background in data center delivery construction (design, commissioning, construction), mission-critical facilities, or similar industrial/manufacturing builds is advantageous. Familiarity with mission-critical systems such as data centers, hospitals, power plants, or military facilities is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical for managing technical and strategic programs.
