Join our Enterprise Technology & Performance team as a Senior Team Lead specializing in SAP CPI. This role is pivotal in driving functional excellence and innovation by managing critical integrations within our technology landscape. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining seamless connections between on-premise SAP S/4 HANA and various cloud and middleware applications.

Design and develop integrations linking on-premise SAP S/4 HANA with cloud platforms like SFDC and SAP Fiori Cloud, as well as middleware tools such as Informatica Cloud and GXS OpenText. Prepare detailed technical designs, develop interfaces, perform mappings within CPI, and conduct thorough bug fixing and testing.

Configure cloud connector setups for robust connections between CPI and on-premise applications. Implement custom integration flows (IFlows) and leverage BTP IS functionalities, including API Management, API Portal, Business Hub, and Open Connectors. Utilize the API Portal to call exposed SAP S4 HANA APIs via APIM and manage API application keys. Execute various CPI adapters and handle diverse data conversion techniques. Ensure secure and efficient transport of CPI and APIM design objects to production tenants.

A Bachelor's degree is required. Proven hands-on experience as a CPI middleware consultant is essential, with a strong track record of developing custom integration flows. Expertise in BTP IS Cloud Integration, API Management (API Portal, Business Hub), and Open Connectors is a must.

Proficiency in a wide range of CPI adapters (ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, AMQP, JDBC, XI Proxy) is necessary. You should be skilled in data conversion techniques and have experience calling exposed SAP S4 HANA APIs via APIM. Mastery of Groovy and Java scripting, along with knowledge of WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT technologies, is expected.

Demonstrated expertise in Message Mapping (including UDFs), XSLT mappings, CPI exception handling, error notification, data persistence, and retry mechanisms is critical. A solid understanding of security artifacts, encryption, and decryption is also required. Experience with CPI Development and Operations Support, including transporting design objects using CTS+ or TMS, is essential for this role.
