As a key member of the Enterprise Technology & Performance SAP team, you will play a crucial role in architecting and implementing integrations that connect on-premise SAP S/4 HANA systems with various cloud and middleware applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

Develop and maintain integrations between on-premise SAP S/4 HANA and cloud applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP Fiori Cloud). Integrate with middleware solutions like Informatica Cloud and GXS Open Text (MFT), as well as on-premise applications such as databases.

Prepare technical designs, develop interfaces, and perform mappings within CPI. Address bugs, conduct testing, and create comprehensive documentation.

Configure cloud connectors for CPI to establish secure connections with on-premise systems including S4 HANA, mail servers, and databases.

Utilize SAP BTP Integration Suite, specifically Cloud Integration and API Management (API Portal, Business Hub), along with Open Connectors for various integration scenarios.

Leverage the API Portal to call exposed SAP S4 HANA APIs via APIM, ensuring secure and efficient API consumption.

Manage CPI transport objects, moving design elements between non-production and production tenants using methods like CTS+ or TMS.

Proven hands-on experience as a CPI middleware consultant, developing custom Integration Flows (IFlows).

Expertise in using a wide range of CPI adapters, including ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, AMQP, JDBC, and XI Proxy Adapters.

Skilled in various data conversion techniques (e.g., JSON to XML, CSV to XML) and message mapping methodologies, including User-Defined Functions (UDFs) and XSLT mappings.

Proficiency in writing Groovy and Java scripts for custom logic and transformations.

Strong understanding of WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT technologies.

Knowledge of CPI exception handling, error notification, data persistence, and retry mechanisms.

Familiarity with handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption processes.

Experience in both CPI development and operation support is essential.

Familiarity with other SAP integration technologies such as PI, EDI, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI, and API-based integrations is highly desirable.
