Lead and support critical SAP Basis and Security implementation, administration, and AMS activities. This includes installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining SAP systems across various landscapes. You'll be responsible for monitoring and optimizing SAP databases, ensuring high system availability through performance tuning, and managing the SAP Transport Management System (TMS).

Key duties involve managing background jobs, spool requests, system alerts, and RFC destinations. You will also support SAP infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. In terms of security, you'll design and maintain SAP security roles, manage user provisioning and administration, ensure compliance with security policies, and support audit activities.

Your role will also encompass troubleshooting Basis and Security issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing comprehensive technical documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for maintaining stable and secure SAP operations.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis & Security Senior Consultant with 6-8 years of overall SAP experience, demonstrating strong hands-on expertise. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required.

Essential skills include extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, implementation, and AMS support. Proficiency in SAP system installation, upgrades, kernel patching, and maintenance is crucial. Expertise in SAP database administration (HANA, Oracle, Sybase), backup, recovery, and performance optimization is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of SAP system performance tuning, workload analysis, memory management, and buffer optimization is expected. Experience with SAP TMS, background job management, spool administration, system monitoring, and RFC configuration is vital. Familiarity with SAP infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is also required.

In SAP Security, you must have strong expertise in role design, authorization concepts, user profile management, and user lifecycle management. A good understanding of audit, compliance, segregation of duties (SoD), and SAP security best practices is necessary. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills are key. Experience in large-scale SAP environments is preferred.
