Join our Enterprise Technology & Performance team as a Sr Team Lead specializing in SAP Basis and Security. This role is central to driving functional excellence and enabling innovation within SAP landscapes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation, high performance, and robust security of our SAP environments.

Lead and support SAP Basis and Security implementation, administration, and AMS activities. Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP systems across Development, Quality, and Production. Monitor and optimize SAP databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase), including backup and recovery. Perform system performance monitoring, workload analysis, and troubleshooting for high availability. Configure and manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS). Manage background jobs, spool requests, system locks, and alerts to ensure smooth operations. Configure and maintain RFC destinations and interfaces across SAP and non-SAP systems. Support SAP infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Design, build, and maintain SAP security roles, including Single, Composite, and Derived Roles. Manage user provisioning, administration, password resets, and deprovisioning. Ensure compliance with security policies and segregation of duties (SoD). Assist with audit and compliance activities by preparing documentation and logs. Troubleshoot Basis and Security issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions. Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for stable and secure SAP operations.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required. We are seeking an experienced professional with 6–8 years of overall SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP Basis and SAP Security. Demonstrated hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, implementation, and AMS support projects is essential.

Proficiency in SAP system installation, upgrades, kernel patching, and maintenance is expected. Expertise in SAP database administration (SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase), including backup, recovery, and performance optimization, is crucial. Strong knowledge of SAP system performance tuning, workload analysis, memory management, and buffer optimization is necessary.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS). Familiarity with managing background jobs, spool administration, system monitoring, RFC configuration, and interface management is beneficial. Experience supporting SAP infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

Strong expertise in SAP Security, including role design, authorization concepts, user profile management, and lifecycle management (provisioning, access, password administration, deprovisioning), is required. A good understanding of audit, compliance, segregation of duties (SoD), and SAP security best practices is important. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are vital. Experience in large-scale SAP implementation and support environments is preferred.
