Join Amazon's rapidly scaling Quick Commerce (QC) team and pioneer the next generation of ultra-fast delivery fulfillment technology. You will be instrumental in building a brand-new fulfillment stack from the ground up, impacting how millions of customers receive their orders in minutes.

This role offers a unique 0→1 opportunity to shape the future of Quick Commerce operations. You'll contribute to large-scale, composable systems powering micro-stores, from receiving to last-mile handoff, empowering thousands of associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable services and APIs that form the backbone of the QC fulfillment stack.

Develop systems to manage external fulfillment environments with our 3P partners, extending operational controls beyond Amazon's own sites.

Collaborate closely with Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to conceptualize and implement technical solutions for complex fulfillment challenges.

Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to Amazon's stringent engineering best practices.

Drive continuous improvements in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to achieve industry-leading speeds.

Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions, contributing to a culture of technical excellence.

Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and elevating the overall engineering bar of the team.

A minimum of 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in at least one software programming language for over 5 years.

Extensive experience, over 5 years, in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including application of design patterns and ensuring reliability and scalability.

Proven experience serving as a mentor, tech lead, or in a leadership role within an engineering team.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include over 5 years of experience across the full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
