As a Senior Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include driving technical strategy, nurturing the growth of talented engineers, and fostering cross-team collaboration to build essential services. Define and implement the technical strategy for our retail automation platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.

Architect and lead the development of large-scale distributed systems, establishing robust design patterns and best practices for seamless system integration and outstanding operational performance.

Build and mentor engineering teams, cultivating technical expertise and promoting a culture of continuous learning and shared accountability.

Collaborate with machine learning scientists and research teams to design and deploy intelligent solutions tailored for diverse retail use cases.

Develop core services and frameworks that accelerate innovation, boost team productivity, and uphold high standards for scalability, reliability, and performance.

A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, with 5+ years of practical experience.

Over 5 years of experience in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including expertise in design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Demonstrated experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading an engineering team.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
