This is a hands-on position involving the entire software development lifecycle. You will have the chance to design and build robust components, deploy them to production, and monitor their performance. Mentoring other engineers is also a key aspect of this role. We are seeking a software developer with a proven track record of delivery, complemented by strong communication, leadership, and customer-centric skills.

Lead the architecture, design, development, and launch of core services and features impacting multiple teams. You will significantly influence our strategic direction by defining features, driving system architecture, and championing best practices for product quality.

Take ownership of cross-team project execution, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Engage with stakeholders, drive project momentum, and mentor junior engineers. You will act as an independent technical leader, adept at navigating complex challenges and guiding team members.

Architect, analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy software features, addressing defects as they arise. Participate actively in sprint planning and daily scrums, breaking down technical tasks, identifying blockers, and proposing solutions. Collaborate with managers and technical leaders across the organization to achieve technical consensus. Author documentation to clearly communicate vision, proposals, and designs.

A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Demonstrable experience in programming with at least one software language is essential.

Extensive experience over 5 years is required in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, encompassing design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles. Prior experience in a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leadership capacity is also a requirement.

Preferred candidates will possess over 5 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is beneficial.
