The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. This includes 5+ years in programming with at least one software language and 5+ years in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, demonstrating expertise in design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader is essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is required. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
