As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the entire software testing lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions. Analyze user stories and functional documentation to identify test scenarios and potential gaps. Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases, including functional, integration, and regression tests. Validate business processes across various modules and configurations. Accurately log, track, and investigate defects using Azure DevOps. Perform thorough regression testing and retesting of defects, assessing downstream impacts. Maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. Proactively identify and escalate quality risks and impediments. Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Provide timely updates on testing progress, defects, and risks during Agile ceremonies. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and support business users. Work autonomously to ensure QA continuity in a complex and evolving project environment.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years in the IT industry, with at least 6 years specifically in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in a Senior QA Engineer role. Demonstrable experience with functional, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing methodologies. Proficiency in Azure DevOps Boards and Test Plans for test management and defect tracking. Experience in Procurement and/or Banking/Financial Services domains is essential. Technical testing experience with web applications, integrations, and APIs, along with working knowledge of SQL and diagnostic techniques. Strong understanding of complex enterprise processes and dependencies is crucial. Proven experience working effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and with distributed teams. Ability to independently manage QA activities, priorities, and delivery commitments with minimal supervision.
