Oversee and manage all construction-related activities for new data center builds and capital projects, taking full ownership of project scope, timelines, and budgets.

Focus on reducing costs and shortening schedules while consistently maintaining high quality standards.

Provide expert construction management for initiatives designed to enhance data center resilience.

Conduct thorough reviews of electrical and mechanical system designs, as well as building blueprints, for both new constructions and existing data center optimizations.

Develop project scopes and equipment requirements, assisting with RFP processes and capital request justifications.

Ensure overall project quality, including support for commissioning, integrated system testing, and project execution oversight.

Effectively manage multiple stakeholders, guiding projects from initiation through successful handover.

Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process during construction and coordinate construction administration with engineering teams.

Accurately record and report key performance metrics to team members and management.

Simultaneously manage multiple projects, including new data center construction and capital improvements for existing facilities.

Provide operational support for installed facilities, reviewing procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.

Serve as a leadership figure within the team and among internal and external support groups for data centers.

Travel to data center sites as required for electrical system audits, mechanical system reviews, constructability assessments, startup testing, and full commissioning.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a strong foundation in reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings across all relevant domains.

Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.

Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, specifically with large, complex projects involving extensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

Preferred qualifications include a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment and design principles within data center electrical and mechanical topologies. Familiarity with building codes and regulations such as Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA is highly advantageous.

Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures is beneficial. Additionally, over 10 years of project management experience in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure environments is preferred.
