As the Senior Product Design Manager for HRIS and India Design Site Lead, you will guide a team responsible for our core HCM and HRIS products. You will also spearhead the broader India design organization, fostering talent growth, team culture, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate design impact.

Lead and nurture a team of product designers focused on HR, Talent, Benefits, and Workforce Management. Drive the creation of intuitive, scalable, and trustworthy experiences for complex, business-critical HRIS functions. Define and implement AI-native features that simplify administrator and employee workflows through automation and intelligent systems. Champion high standards of design craft and quality, mentoring designers and fostering an environment for impactful work. Oversee the end-to-end product design process, from initial problem definition to execution and iteration. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and meet ambitious roadmap goals. Promote systems thinking across the team to ensure consistent and scalable design patterns throughout the platform. Translate intricate operational and compliance challenges into elegant, user-friendly solutions. Champion a deep understanding of customer needs, particularly in areas like global HR and compliance. Contribute to the evolution of Rippling’s design system to ensure quality and facilitate rapid development. Ensure cohesive user experiences across interdependent systems like HRIS and Time. Serve as the India Design Site Lead, cultivating a strong local office culture and providing operational leadership.

A minimum of 10 years in professional product design, with over 5 years dedicated to leading and managing design teams. Demonstrated success in delivering impactful, customer-facing products within complex sectors such as HCM/HRIS, fintech, or enterprise software. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, break down large problem spaces, and transform complex systems into intuitive user experiences. Strong aptitude for systems thinking, with experience in designing interconnected products and establishing scalable frameworks. Experience developing and launching AI-native or automation-driven product features. A track record of owning and delivering end-to-end product design cycles, from strategic planning to final execution. Ability to effectively lead, mentor, and develop designers at all career stages. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at influencing partners and driving cross-team alignment. Strong product judgment, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations. Deep customer empathy, with experience translating real-world workflows into effective product solutions.
