NTT DATA is seeking a seasoned Sr. Offshore RAR (Revenue Recognition & Reporting) professional to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role demands a unique combination of financial regulatory expertise, deep integration knowledge with core operational modules, and practical configuration skills within SAP RAR.

As a key member of our team, you will leverage your understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing our financial processes and driving client success through innovative solutions.

This position focuses on mastering compliance and accounting standards, including a deep dive into the 5-step revenue recognition model. You will apply accounting concepts such as parallel accounting, multi-currency frameworks, contract assets/liabilities, and deferred revenue mechanics. Configuring cost recognition to align with revenue schedules for cost matching principles is also a core responsibility.

You will be responsible for comprehensive SAP RAR module configuration, including creating and managing Revenue Accounting Items (RAIs), defining RAI classes, and processing statuses. Expertise in configuring Revenue Accounting Contracts and Performance Obligations (POBs), along with setting up complex price allocations using SSP and managing contract modifications, is essential. A strong capability in the BRFplus Engine for automating POB determination and price formatting is also required.

The role requires extensive experience in cross-module integration, specifically with SAP SD for mapping billing documents, sales orders, and condition types, as well as SAP FI/CO for general ledger postings and profitability analysis linkages. Familiarity with advanced billings and integration with SAP BRIM or Convergent Invoicing for subscription contracts is beneficial.

Additionally, exposure to technical migration and deployment is necessary. This includes experience with data migration paths for transferring legacy contracts to SAP S/4HANA Optimized Contract Management (OCM). Proficiency in using SAP Fiori analytics applications for extracting audit-ready compliance tracking schedules is also a key requirement for this role.
