Seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer with extensive Juniper SRX expertise to drive advanced network segmentation and Zero Trust initiatives.

This role is crucial for architecting and implementing robust security strategies across data center, campus, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of network security infrastructure and protocols, ensuring secure and efficient network operations.

Architect and implement network segmentation using Juniper SRX firewalls to limit lateral movement and enforce least-privilege access. Design and operationalize Zero Trust Architecture principles, integrating identity, application, and network controls. Collaborate with application owners to map dependencies for policy-driven segmentation. Define and enforce granular security policies using zone-based segmentation and SRX constructs across hybrid environments. Lead the adoption of Juniper SRX as the primary segmentation enforcement platform and develop governance models. Develop segmentation governance models, policy lifecycle management, and ensure compliance with frameworks like CIS and NIST.

Possess 8-11 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on Juniper SRX firewalls. Demonstrate expert knowledge in firewall architecture, design, and implementation, including security zones, policies, NAT, and routing. Gain experience in securing public and private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Showcase strong understanding of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, alongside network services such as DNS and DHCP. Experience with LAN/WAN security technologies, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPN, and NAC is essential.
